When Tom Watson refers to it as a "natural masterpiece" we know this is a serious links golf course. Set in a bowl running north south along the Dornoch Firth and the North Sea, Royal Dornoch is laid out on two levels with a run of holes along a gorse covered ridge line connecting one level to the other. The course offers great variety,.... challenging shot making, large elevated greens, and complex shoots, tucks and borrows consistent with it's seaside location and pure links character.
