Planning your Scotland Golf Vacation

We recognise our fortunate position of being able to work with the very best golf tourism product in the world today. Scottish links golf simply abounds in character, diversity and challenge and set to a backdrop of some of the most majestic places of natural scenic beauty in the world of golf.

We are often requested to give our opinion on what golf regions a customer should choose in Scotland over another, especially where time restraints apply as do in most cases of planning an annual golfing vacation.

Our average tour duration is 8 days (often extending to 9 days to accommodate tours to the North of Scotland and in particular Royal Dornoch). Whatever regions you decide to ultimately settle on as your final schedule there will be compromises.....courses that you would love to play but cannot squeeze them into the schedule. We are always pleased to discuss options, preferences and overall implications with you.

If travelling to Scotland for the first time, we might recommend an East and West program that takes in St. Andrews, Carnoustie & Kingsbarns with Royal Troon, Prestwick, Western Gailes and Turnberry.

If price is a primary consideration, then we may well recommend a St. Andrews and the East & North program where the green fees at Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, Nairn and Dornoch are more favourable, but without any loss of character and quality of the golfing experience.

Remember.....the Scottish links (with very few exceptions) have been formed naturally over centuries by the wind, tides and natural elements and therefore each remains unique. Each will meet your expectations......and then exceed them.
